  1. Don’t remember the last time I left the safe confines of my home along with its loaded fridge, grill, and no bathroom lines for a Georgia game. Stupid Disney. Anyway, I’ll be surrounded by either enemies or comrades in support only because they’re Ole Miss fans. Go Dawgs!

  3. We got this. Too much has been said about this being a possible upset for the team to ignore. They will match State’s energy and offense because that’s what we’ve done all season. If the other team starts scoring, we do too. Let’s go Dawgs!!!

    • Good point. We do seem to match whatever the other team does. How about we break tendencies this week and just mash the bizzaro dogs into their turf?

  9. Missed holding call on very first play set the tone for that drive. Our defense is freakin soft early. Every. Damn. Week. Getting old

    • There was one third and long but of course they made it with an uncontested throw and catch.

  18. Our first drive bogged down because of that 1st down trick play that State was watching for. Once again we get behind the chains after crossing mid-field.
    At least this time it wasn’t the refs putting us there.

  19. Ok, I am gonna gripe about that sweep call from Bobo. MSU is terrible in the middle -worse in the conference, had not stopped us yet, so we run a trick play to the perimeter. Head scratching ensues.

  20. 8th verse same as the 1st. Miss State will have record breaking 3rd down numbers today, and if we win, it will be because Gunner gets a lot better than that drive… and fast. They are gonna keep scoring. Can we?

  35. The fumble scared cutesy Bobo back to screen pass Bobo. Screen pass Bobo runs up the gut on 2nd down. Lets see what happens.

  36. Look at that! First down on the goal line and you don’t have to throw that low success fade pass…we can RUN the ball some.

  39. Our tackling has been mediocre at best this season so far, especially by the young bucks in the secondary.

  40. I know I should be happy that UGA is leading. Bobo has moved the ball but… For a team that expects to be in the playoff, established a trend of belonging in the playoff, has the talent to make the playoff, and should be in the top 2 or 3 in the SEC….

    The team is sloppy on both sides of the ball and trended that way last year and more so this year.

    The team reminds me of a mix of CMR/Bobo and Les Miles teams in that 3rd down conversion on offense struggles. You don’t get 4 quarters on both sides of the ball. They kind of remind me of Les Miles LSU teams great talent but sleep through the 1st half before playing to their potential.

    Much of this falls on the coaching staff and they’re renewing contracts bragging about staff stability.

    We may go on and blow out Miss State but how many times this year has all 3 units of the team show up out of the gate firing on all cylinders?

    Reminder Miss State is 15th out of 16 SEC teams against the run. UGA prides themselves on their ability to run the ball. We SHOULD move the ball.

    • Whoever gets hot on any Saturday IMO should have the chance to remain hot, getting a heavy percentage of carries.

  46. I am so confused as to what we’re doing on this last possession of the half. Have we hit a single back shoulder pass this year? And what’s that false punt switcharoo?

    • Winning by 17 at half on the road obviously.

      Only disney dawgs are willing to accept this degree of excellence.

    • Kirby should fire some low level analyst after the game just to appease the gods of Georgia fandom.

    • You’re not allowed to say that here, Ugly. Remember, no matter what happens we have to be mad at someone. Just read through the 80+ posts above that are nothing but bitchin’ and moanin’.

      • The bitching and moaning was about the slow start..and maybe justified. I don’t think we can pretend it hasn’t been a problem. I’ve got a feeling this young team turned a corner today. They looked hungry and they ate!
        State is a team that has given other SEC teams a scare this year. This wasn’t a cupcake by a long shot.

          I hope you’re right cause it felt a little like that to me. The coordinators were aggressive and more locked in today. This is what I’ve been hoping for but haven’t seen alot of. The Oline definitely came to play.

  61. Most of the complaining was about the slow start in the first quarter and it’s a legitimate problem.. But State’s first drive was pretty nicely scripted and they haven’t done much since. Hats off to the defense today.
    I get the feeling that the team is coming around at just the right time.
    Is it too early to start hating Texas and their band of a’hole fans?

    • Hopefully so, and I would not have made the post I made earlier if it wasn’t a trend. Agreed with Bobblehead doing the broadcast, the team has been good but needs to regularly step up for majority of the time to win out.

      I’ve been hating Texas for years.

  62. I love it when you know the opponent has to start throwing it deep to try to get back in the game…time to let the defense lay their ears back and get some.

  63. They have a good drive but they used too much clock..they need quick scores.

    • It keeps the 1s healthy and lets the 2s get experience in case they are needed. To be able to play our 2s is great.

      • Yes..it’s a luxury that comes with an insurmountable lead at the end of three quarters. Use it for those two reasons.
