With the amount of ink spilled over this game, I see no need for any editorializing or prognosticating on my part. I’ll just say, this is a big game for UGA and it would be nice to get this win and somewhat change the media narrative about Georgia. TX & OK do not belong in the SEC.

  1. I love all the fuel they’ve given us all week. Just watched a clean sweep of texas picks on gameday. (Btw, that was an accident. I was trying to get the beginning of the barn/mizzou game.)

    Anyway. No surprise.

    All the pressure, the no. 1 ranking, the expectations are on them.

    If kirby has shown one consistent thing in his tenure its this: don’t put a pretender in front of his team. We’ll beat that ass.

    Dawgs roll.

    • I do like that everyone is picking Texas. Ratchet up the pressure on Texas and let the Dawgs loose on them.

  3. South Carolina is up 21-0 on Oklahoma. Two interceptions and one fumble, and Cackalacky only has 42 yards total offense. Tell me again about the vaunted Texas defense?

  7. Texas may have set the record for the shortest time to become the most insufferable fan base in the SEC. They act as if they are our saviors, finally bringing quality football to his poor downtrodden conference.

  9. If this team has a “best shot” game in them, tonight would be the time to break it out. I’ve gotten an Aggie grad who sent me a message this morning begging us to beat them.

  11. If I was going to bet money I would take TX tonight. Having said that, they can talk all they want about being ready for SEC play, after they play us is when the rubber meets the road. Those players have not done “the grind” yet.

  16. Carson Beck sucks ass! This is ridiculous. We would be up 45-0 with half a qb. WTF!

      • It’s about 50/50. Beck and receivers. Those guys are dropping balls that hit them in their hands.

        • Lovett w/ 2 drops of easy passes that would’ve given us 1st downs. The Luckie drop was a little more excusable, but getting no points there is brutal.

  18. Offense looks like ass on both sides. Difference is it’s our D that’s making theirs look bad. Ours just looks like ass. But it’s ass-enough.

  43. My hope now is that we pull this out (that’s what she said) when UT runs out of clock. And it’s because the reefs fucked us on the TD non-call and we got to spend a few more seconds getting it in.

    • Early in the 3rd when Texas was backed up on their 5 and Ewers there that dying quail out of the endzone, there should have been holding. Whoever broke straight up the middle on that play had his jersey so stretched out it looked like an awning over the field. No way anyone could miss that …..but they did. No call AND the pro Texas announcers never even mentioned it. To make sure I wasn’t seeing things, I replayed it in slow motion. He damn near got undressed on the play.
      Living in the middle of the enemy, I will be proudly wearing everything red and black I can get on tomorrow.

  51. That decision to go for it wasn’t the right call whether we make it or not. 15 points up and tilt the field there with them with no timeouts.

    • Half a yard to win the game? Yes you do. Dumb play call to go wide. QB sneak would have been fine or fake and throw. Kids wanted it…feed them. D was up to the task.

      • I disagree. At that point, field position and the clock are your allies. I understand why he did it. I just don’t think it was the right thing to do.

      • That and the 2nd half kickoff really had me scratching my head. Visions of fake punts against Alabama kept flashing before my eyes.

        • In his postgame presser, Kirby said it wasn’t intentional. Just didn’t get all of the ball, somehow.

  52. The worst officiating I’ve ever seen in a half of football. Dudes on the field, dudes in the replay booth. Fucking shitshow.

    • They sucked alright, but the officiating crew in the Louisville-Miami game came in a close second today for the worst crew.

  53. ESPN and the SEC are so clearly pro-Texas, it’s sickening. Now that Bama is on the decline, Texas is their new fave. I predict the SEC office will move to Dallas within the next 2 years.

    Offense- WTF did I just see?? Looked like 2015
    Defense- WTF did I just see!! Looked like 2022
    Coaching- Dammit Bobo! Run the ball!
    Officials- Did they get these dudes from the south Chicago O’Bannon Gang?

  61. Texuxs stole Bama’s Privilege. Remember very early in the game Georgia was called for defensive PI when the receiver had his arms wrapped around the Dawg defender…a ridiculous wrong call…that wasn’t reversed or even reviewed. Dawg fans should have thrown their shit onto the field..(I’m proud they didn’t).
    Txuxs has replaced the Junior and Lulu as the trash of the conference.
