Your game day (ND) post, Week 1 Saturday edition

Good morning! We are here. A glorious Saturday of college football is here. No more football cards, no more counting the days, no more TALKING! It’s action season. We have a regular slate of college football today that begins at noon and the last game kicks off at 11:00pm.

As I usually ask… Who ya taking, who ya fading? What’s the best chance for an over? Who’s making money today?

This post is open for your game day (ND) comments throughout the day and evening.

Go Dawgs!

  1. I have no love for AN Ohio State University or Literacy Sucks University, but I’d love to see Horns Down and the Poor Little Ol’ Dabos get their asses handed to them today. Sadly, I expect a close one in Columbus (Major Bennett Marco says it’s a tremendous football town) and a 6-7 point win for the PLODs in Faux Death Valley. Go Dawgs.

  2. Bama pulls away 2nd half, Horns lose and don’t look good & Clem wins a close one to start a 12-0 season.

  3. Bama, Texas , Clemmons win. (LSU is such a mystery..I won’t be surprised if they win…just seeing how Clemmons has appropriated their “Tiger” legacy and hoopla should piss LSU off.)

And for once I’ll be pulling for a very orange team…Syracuse..but Tennessee’s advantage at Kneeland gets them the W.

      • Thanks..I saw “Syracuse @ Tennessee” listed and thus my error.
Chic-fi-A must have been desperate to invite all that orange crap into the city. I think I’ll get my chicken sandwiche from Popeye’s this week…(actually better IMHO)

  4. SEC refs are already in mid season form. Near sighted. Out of position. Can’t count.

  5. I know it’s a tough matchup for both qb’s in Columbus, but is it just me or is Arch looking like Quinn Ewers’ backup?

      • And neither will play another tough game until they meet UGA and PSU. Those trenches were violent

  6. Of all the Mannings, Arch is at least one of the top 4 passers.

    • I don’t know. Peyton’s kid is in junior high and looking pretty good. Lol

      • What about that side-arm sling he does?? I think it causes his receivers to have a problem seeing the ball as it comes out and pick it up in their sight. Just as a good outfielder can know exactly where a baseball is going if he sees it come off the bat..same thing with receivers picking up the football’s flight. The amount of zip on it compounds that problem.

        • I had never noticed that till today. It’s got to drive his trainers and coaches nuts.

  7. So who won “The first play Bobo will call” contest?
Looked like a dive off the right guard.??
