Good morning and Happy New Year! Well, Whinin’ Day and the Bucknuts will get to watch the rest of the CFP from their couch. Time to put Ole Miss on the couch with them.
Now, I’m no prognosticator, I’m just a fan. However, last season, headed into the Sugar Bowl, I was uneasy about the game and, to my horror, it didn’t turn out well for the good guys. Don’t have any of those feelings this season. This team has grown up and made huge strides as we watched them all season. Ole Miss might get some early points but, I look for UGA to take over, at the latest, by the second half. Don’t think Ole Miss can overcome us. Last year, the middle 8 killed us, got us down so far, we couldn’t rally back. I trust Kirby to button that up today.
In other news, there’s a couple of other games today as well. Part of me wants to see Bama shut Indiana down and shut up all the B1G idiots. But, I don’t really want to see Bama for a 3rd time this season so, I’m conflicted. As far as TT/Oregon, I’m pulling for TT, although I really don’t care which one wins.

I still don’t understand not running 2 min drill when we got the ball around the 2 min mark. WTH were we doing there. Kirby even looked pissed and looked like he was letting someone have it on the headset
Ole Miss doing something—that’s confusing Gunner on a bunch of these pass plays. He’s been bailing after first read all night. His improvising worked out on 2nd TD drive, but he’s only completed one pass all night to a WR. (Not counting Branch who’s a slot guy)
It continues to feel like Gunner is scared to death to throw downfield. He has thrown a couple of awful picks that way this year. Seems like Ole Miss is selling to stop the run and the screen game. Should be something open. I don’t get it.
UGA has been a second half team all year. Time for them to revert to the standard now. I hope Kirby lights a fire under their ass at half time.

OL not sharp. Missed blocks, guys tripping, falling, etc. And whatever CMB is trying to establish I don’t get it. No rhythm to the play calling.
This is the offense we started the year with. Just not very good. No downfield passing game. Run game getting shut down. Not sure how we overcome this.
No pressure on the quarterback. Had all day to complete that pass.
We should have gambled on some blitzing in the first half to see how Chambliss reacted. Now, we’re just hoping to survive.
I think the bye week curse is real…Dawgs look like they did against the nerds…just off and rusty. HOPEFULLY the fourth quarter is the difference maker in our favor.

As poor as our D has played, the O is the reason we are in this position. It’s more painful than Beck. At least he could throw downfield sometimes. Kirby needs to fix his offense for next year. The Gunner experience isn’t cutting it. Can’t run and throw sideways to a natty. You run into teams that can stop that easy shit. Like today. Of course, we all know that Kirby won’t change anything. It will be Bozo and Gunner again next year. And it will be exactly the same. Feel bad for Gunner. He’s just not an elite quarterback.

This is crazy…just unbelievable how Chamblis gets away from our pass rush and buys time for his receivers to get open and drops dime after dime on them down field. Gotta hand it to the guy..he’s eating our defense’s lunch. Three times in a row “we had him” only to see him make an unbelievable play..
