I really had to check to see if this was an April Fool’s joke.
Let me get this straight…Duke, Houston, and Alabama all make deep NCAA Tournament runs in 2026, and Georgia loses over half of it’s first-round-faceplanting basketball roster and someone out there said “hey, Georgia will be competitive in this contest!”
Were they drunk? Why are we having to do this? If anything, if it’s any more embarrassing than the losses to St. Louis and Gonzaga, maybe Brooks will be compelled to invest more in the program. Or maybe he won’t.
I think I’m going to have to go back to not watching Georgia basketball again.
Starting down 20-6 should be fun.
Georgia may or may not get run out of the gym, but I love the idea of playing the best. What a great opportunity to sell the program and the university. To be the man you have to best the man. My family will be taking an early Christmas trip to NYC. God Dawgs!

I will continue my not watching of Dawgs bball until shown that we are actually different. I almost got pulled in last season, deciding to see how they played in the SEC tournament before committing, we all know how that went. Meantime, let’s go DiamondDawgs!!!
