In case you haven’t had a chance to peep the lunacy that is the AP Top 25 poll, check out a winless Notre Dame still lingering around the Top 25.
They’re ranked 24th, in case you don’t want to click. Georgia earns a Top 15 win, meanwhile Penn State hasn’t played a team with a pulse and sits at #2. Wins against Nevada, FIU, and perennial football powerhouse Villanova gets you that kind of clout.
Also, it’s looking more and more like Ohio State’s win against Texass and LSU’s win against Clemson is looking less and less impressive. What are the voters thinking? Are they thinking?
Anyway, prove them all wrong with the only poll that counts…vote today!
Voting closes tomorrow at noon.
Thanks for getting this out so soon this week. After 4 weeks, I figure if you haven’t lost you deserve at least 1 vote.
I put ND in out of spite.
I ranked 30 teams that I think have some kind of chance at the Playoff. I left off some 1 loss teams, and left off Clemson and Notre Dame even though there will be upsets that allow both to have a chance. I omitted South Carolina because the QB was injured and I watched Mike Shula call a few series of plays and if you don’t like Bobo, you should get a load of that guy.
Yeah, at this point I’m voting for teams that have some chance at the playoffs.
Eleven of sixteen teams from the SEC are in the top 25! What a gauntlet.
And the B1G pretenders…I don’t think PSU could have a winning season in the SEC…yet there they are flaunting their wins over The Sisters of the Poor.
Not participating yet for same reason I hate the “official” polls right now. Body of work too little, too much bias to preseason ranking regardless of opening game outcomes. Official Polls shouldn’t be published until November 1 but that horse left the barn a century ago.
Two things of note – Southern Miss is missing form the Fun Belt, UMass is not an indy, they’re in the MAC. Other than that, GO DAWGS, FTMF!
