To Ray Goff, Thank You

No, not for the bad years, but for this.

The snippet comes from a longer interview on the Sons and Daughters podcast, which is worth a listen for a slow Saturday:

How many times does Georgia need to nearly miss on Kirby Smart before we get this figured out? Go Dawgs!

  1. I really enjoyed this interview/podcast. Great insight into Kirby’s mind. Also really humanizing. His discussion on the difference in styles between Bowden and Saban give a bit of insight into Richt as well.

  2. Great interview! I learned a lot about Kirby the human being than I knew before. Who knew he is insecure? I had heard the story about him designing a play on the white board in his job interview at Valdosta State and only putting 10 guys on it, but I had never known that his ability programming an excell spreadsheet secured his first coaching job. Very interesting stuff. The interviewer is top notch. I will look for other stuff by her.
