The more they stay the same…in case you missed it, there was a football game last night, featuring one of our former receivers playing for the Lions.
I blame Coley. I keed, I keed.
Anyway, Lovett finished with a respectable 5 catches for 31 yards on 9 targets, so he improved a little after his opening drop. It’ll be interesting to see how Smith does in any preseason games as we wonder the eternal question that we love to argue about around here…was it competency or coaching?
Only time will tell. Actually, it won’t, because griping about X’s and O’s versus execution is the literal lifeblood of sports fandom, but it’s nice to see the 2024 Georgia narrative has made its way to the pros. That’s some serious brand power if it’s made its way up to the Great Lakes.
Go ‘Dawgs!
I was watching last night and saw him drop it. It was an ugly drop too. I felt bad for him. Another thing about that game was the very first play of the game in the very first game of the season went to a video review. I’m thinking, is this the way the season is going to go? with constant play stoppage? That’s gonna lick.
Telecast was unwatchable. Collinsworth is incapable of STFU.
Seems like every season starts with me remembering to video every game I want to see, and play it back with my thumb frequently on the fast forward button.
Collinsworth is awful and, of course, a Handbag.
