Either they stuck around because of the nattys, or because of the culture that Kirby cultivated in Athens. I’d like to think it’s a little of both.
My thinking is UGA players that are borderline NFL players stick around to get coached up by the best and add another year of maturity. Therefore enhancing there chance to be drafted or picked up as an UFA. Some want to up their draft positions. Some just love the institution and their football brothers and enjoy the college game.
Yep, the ones who stay get rewarded.

I was surprised that Dirty Dan declared for the draft. I wonder what grade he got as an NFL prospect that contributed to his decision?
