Next week will kick off lots more information and insights after a long, fairly dull summer. For a breakdown of the scheduling for next week, check this out:
Georgia’s media day is Tuesday of next week, sharing the day with Texas, Tennessee, and Auburn (nice Orange drapery you’ve got there, Greg). My question after looking at this, will anyone actually hang around for Thursday’s session with Kentucky, Arkansas, Mizzou, and TAMU? Yecch.
At least it’s in Atlanta, though.
Who is representing Georgia and the other teams for next week’s pressers?
If you don’t want to expand the post, here’s Georgia’s group of representatives:
Georgia
CJ Allen, LB, Junior
Daylen Everette, DB, Senior
Gunner Stockton, QB, Junior
We’ll keep you posted on the highs and lows of the Media Days, folks.
How many times will Gunner get some kind of back-handed compliment like film junkie, game manager, gym rat, etc.?
As the season gets closer, I get more optimistic that he won’t be the reason we don’t meet our goals for this year.
He’s certainly getting plenty of motivation. Here’s hoping it fuels him. Not sure why all the disdain is thrown at him. He did a pretty stout job coming in cold in the SECC, and he seemed pretty far down the list of problems v ND (no run game. No WR threat. Patchwork OL). We didn’t deserve to win that game, ND outplayed us. But Stockton wasn’t the reason we lost, in my view.
People didn’t think much of SBIV, even after the 21 NC. I have faith in him. Let’s lean into it.
“But Stockton wasn’t the reason we lost”……. Truth! and everyone with Bobo derangement syndrome will come out of the woodwork like cockroaches in south Georgia the minute an offensive play doesn’t work.
Conference media days…yawn.
D’Angelo Barber is a late scratch for AU. They couldn’t set up a Zoom interview from the Tallapoosa County Jail.
Don’t forget to also post that on the daily Auburn Sucks post!
Even Arkansas is bringing Georgia players.
