We’ve heard it before, but this year is proving true again…Kirby makes Georgia Dawgs ready for the NFL.
You have to admit, regardless of the end of season outcome, Kirby Smart recruits, develops, and retains guys that are just different. When Micah Morris points out that he got freshman scout team reps against three future first round defensive linemen, that’s saying a lot.
Golden times, ladies and gents.
Kirby tells them he’s going to put ‘em in the NFL…and he does. When college officially becomes the NFL’s minor league the billionaires boys club would be wise to hire Kirby into a position to oversee the practice regimens for all teams in the new 64 team league.
Isn’t there a disconnect between the athletic show our OLs are putting on at the combine versus their inability to get any serious push against many opponents last season.
Seems like some of these guys have a perpetual injury bug during the season, but that disappears when the combine rolls around.
The old saw about show ponies versus work horses comes to mind.
But I am impressed with their combine showing and do wish them well.
