Not a Good Day for the New SEC

Wasn’t a good day for site experimentation either The backup attempt to September didn’t remedy the situation with commenting either, so we will continue to explore and figure out what’s next. Hang in there.

Meanwhile, TAMU and Oklahoma crapped the bed yesterday in their respective bowl games. I’m guessing that M’Pemba and Humphries will be getting immediate playing time in College Station, based on the wretched play of defense we saw last night against USC.

Seriously, Elko lost to USC and Notre Dame in the same year. Did he leave Duke, or bring it with him?

But, the older SEC held up well, with Vanderbilt destroying Tech in a lightning delayed Birmingham Bowl, which clearly meant more to the Commodores than to the Techies. And of course, the refs sealed Tech’s fate, just like they did in Athens.

At Tech, you can do that!

  1. What a wonderful evening!
I bet the whining in the AJC is off the charts today!! Love it but won’t read that NATS rag..ever.
GT lost. To Vanderbilt. In the rain..and it took a loooooong time because of a rain delay!
It poured down rain on the small, goofy looking crowd of crybabies.
Then there was a long and wonderful lightning delay…after which 90 percent of the nerds were on I-20 Eastbound, picking their noses and drinking cold coffee and hungry because the stadium only takes credit cards (cashless) and their rupees were useless.
Miserable, wet, tired, loser, whining nerds making their way back home in the dark rain.
This is the GT fan base!
    Beautiful!
BTW..their coach is a whiny ass, foul mouthed cry baby.
None of the nerds complained when the refs literally moved the ball over forty yards in penalties to help Tech with their last first half possession…which they botched… They only notice when they’re the team getting punished.
    And Vandy’s QB…when he’s “on”..is Stetson on steroids.

  2. Phuq’n trade school, dumba$$ nerds!! Blaming the refs instead of the two turnovers. I wonder if “Cryin’ Corch Key” was teared up during the post game press conference, or does he realize his team was struck with the loosing twice mentality after the DAWGS put the whupp’n on’em ‘tween the hedges???

  3. The coach for Texas 8-4 (actually 8-5) burped into the microphone when attempting to explain how they lost their last 4 games. Maybe Humphreys M’Pemba can get em to the 9 win a season level.

    • We’re still working on it. There’s an another method where we can redirect from this site to the mirror site. Should hopefully have a patch worked out by new year.

  4. OU -> you have turned into the SEC version of Nebraska in a single season
Texas 8&5 -> your coach is a defensive guy and you lose a game where you are up by multiple scores to a team playing out the string
Texass -> you bunch of entitled jackasses are probably ND’s biggest fans next week
Mizzou -> don’t embarrass the conference on Monday

Go back to the Big XII, so we can be southEASTERN again.

  5. JP, as my old butcher buddy Skeeter at the local Striplings used to say, “I’m hanging in there like a black hair in a biscuit.”

  6. I didn’t Saturday up for all of that game but A&M looked good early. Reed is impressive. As for the site, I’m getting used to just using Jetpack and am just glad to be able to participate again. I think WordPress pulled some sort of stunt.

  7. What is Jetpack? I’m on my iPad and commenting as I always have. Did I miss something?

    • Lots of us can’t use iPads or other devices to comment for unknown to me reasons. I can use the site via Jetpack only its very clunky at best not a good experience.
