I have no love lost for Towers over the last few years for the way he covered the program. He chased a Pulitzer Prize with that liar from the AUC and never addressed the fact that he got suckered.
I also think some rando commenting on X would have never made those comments to Towers’s face. Let the guy enjoy his retirement.
