The NCAA is only worried about PEDs…
Given that CBDs are as prevalent and available as Skittles nowadays, it kinda makes sense.
I’d imagine this is some welcomed news to athletes, but nothing new to coaches and their already expanding list of worries. For once, a coach might be heard saying “I don’t give a shit if the NCAA allows it, I’m not!”
Every little thing…is gonna be alright.
Irie!
Those 4:20 kickoff times gives a new meaning to players and end of the tunnel smoke…
How long until Kirby convinces the state legislature that the laws in Colorado and CA give their schools an advantage over UGA and that we should be the first state in the region to legalize it? Am I too late? Probably.
We’ll probably have a grow farm and a store before long. The good news is that you drive a LOT slower high… I am told.
UGA does have a huge AG school…GROW DAWGS!!
I 100% could see Kirby fighting for this.
See my comment below for details/justification!
Today, I was on the east side of Okinawa and we popped into a donut shop that my wife found. The lady working there was playing Japanese Reggae music… and the donuts were surprisingly good (no CBD or other).
Thank the donut gawds you didn’t get accosted by LuLu and Junior…GO DAWGS!!
About time.
Don’t be surprised if you see Kirby having no problem with pot, and honestly, I could see him using it for pain treatment, improved sleep, and many other things it is useful for.
Coaches who are the most forward thinking and progressive about using this are just adding another tool to their toolbox and its an advantage.
Kids getting wasted/stoned to the point it inhibits muscle recovery, or smoking it and damaging their lungs? Of course that will be frowned upon, discouraged, punished, etc.
But using marijuana in general for other purposes? I could definitely see Kirby getting ahead of the curve and using this effectively (and at the same time, earning free “cool points” from the recruits).
