You know, is the start of the slow news cycles, so here’s some things to consider, or as Monty Python might’ve said…and now, for something completely different.
As someone who is five foot nothin’ myself, I’m not throwing any shade. But it causes one pause, because I seem to remember a former quarterback who was listed at 6 foot, but I know good and well he wasn’t.

I personally stood next to Zeier a time or two on campus as well as on the sideline as a Redcoat. No shade to him, but me being 5’10” and him being eye to eye with me even with a helmet on made me realize some stats can be exaggerated.
Truth be told, though, does a quarterback have to be tall to be good?

I think the answer is no, but also, it depends. A good mobile quarterback can be highly successful being short, whereas a traditional dropback passer might benefit from the extra height. Stetson was great, and Zeier was remarkable even if he was “five foot nothin'”.
Short kings, what are your thoughts?
My vote for lyin’ MF is the terrorist looking, no-class, miserable excuse for a role model…for a certain 5* QB that screwed us over at the last possible minute.

And no, a QB doesn’t have to be tall to be good.
Dang whit, that was damned near Ranger Russ level ranting there. Nicely done.
RR taught us well. My disdain for Pavia is around 17 on a scale of 1-10. Curtis comes in around 12. Can’t wait for Oct. 3rd when ‘The Admiral’ comes to Athens and faces the team he turned his back on. Speaking of back, I predict the turncoat MF will be on his several times during the game.

Reminds me of that scene in Once Upon a Time in the West:
Looks like we’re one horse short.
No, we’ve got two too many.
Zeier was NOT close to remarkable or 6’.
Those last 2 Georgia teams Zeier played on are 2-9 without him. The guy could play.
Compared to the QB that he replaced (Greg Talley)….he was awesome.
Most of us this blog are awesome compared to Greg.
Navigating the pocket is more important than height to me. A shorter QB who can navigate the pocket can create throwing lanes that look impossible. A taller QB who can’t navigate the pocket is a liability.
That’s the thing about SBIV. He could stand in the pocket and make throws by sliding a little one way or another. While he could throw on the run, he didn’t do it often. When he was escaping the pocket, it was generally to run.
Pavia is a d!ck, but I don’t he is the one listing his height. Not sure why someone decided this was what they should found on to trash Pavia when there are plenty of other more worthy items you could select from to do so.
How in the hell is Love only 6’0″…lol?
Seems to me that 2 people are lying about their height. Mendoza is 6’5” my ass.
Greyson Lambert and Jacob Eason come to mind as “Tall” QB’s that didn’t do much. Yes I am aware that GL put up 50ish on SC and made Spurrier cry. He will always be a DGD for it.
Yes honey, that’s 6 inches.
That’s what he said. 😁
Doug Flutie was 5′ 9″ and Michael Vick was 6′.
Does that make Pavia 5’0″?
Pavia sounded taller on the radio.
Buddy I have that exact scene saved in my phone when Gleason walks up and asks “where is sheriff Branford”…could be the greatest scene in history!
Well Gunner has had a few batted down this year. He is better on the roll out.
