In other news, CJ Allen will be wearing the green dot captain’s helmet for the Colts this season, and Stetson Bennett is taking QB1 reps in LA (part of Stafford’s preseason resting) and the word is there’s “no competition” between Bennett and Alabama’s one and done sensation Ty Simpson, who is seeing limited reps in practices.
The 2022 defense just signed enough money in NFL contracts to buy their own island somewhere, and even Arian Smith is still on the Jets roster.
Happy to hear this for all the former Bulldogs out there…and, also, noting that Branch is being described as an excellent route runner and is smoking guys in the secondary on the deep ball.

I personally loved CJ and clearly he was a physical talent, but the green dot makes him the QB of the defense, right? As a rookie? That’s showing him a lot of respect! And it also says a lot about the coaching he got in Athens.
