I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more curt exchange between Kirby and a highly contested recruit.
Something tells me there’s no return visit for Jared. Not to be a Bulldawg, and I don’t care how much he might be worth if the idea is ever entertained again.

And has anyone really detailed just how Jared became so infirmed that he couldn’t be available for a game where he old prove his worth against his former committee destination?
Tip of the cap to Berlowitz, who I think played a great game overall, and at least had a set of balls to step in and play.
Also, Georgia gave up less than 60 yards in the second half of play yesterday. Guess Jared liked the fire, passion, and energy speech, but couldn’t handle the Fury, Upbraiding, and Cussing (FUC) that really gets teams moving when it’s absolutely necessary.
Kirby was probably thinking, “You can run but you can’t hide when we see you in Nashville in a couple of years … assuming Miami doesn’t tamper and throw bags of cash at you in a year or so.”
Gunnar’s still my Dawg until proven otherwise with losses (plural), and as far as Curtis, sometimes you only get one chance at something in life and this one is up for him I believe.
Kirby said at halftime to Shock on the radio broadcast that “we really haven’t even tried to run ball…right now the defense is the problem.”
That leads me to believe Kirby was intentionally trying to get us in an adverse situation to prepare us mentally for Alabama but who knows. The second half was obviously more of what we’re used to seeing so far this season. My two!
Probably more like Fury, Upbraiding and Cranial Knowledge (FUCK)!
Guess getting blown by the admiral ain’t so great Jared.
I ain’t mad at Curtis. It was disappointing to not get him but that’s all. I would rather be us without him than Vanderbilt with him.
I wonder if maybe the defense was a little disappointed that they didn’t get to go after Curtis. That may explain some of their seeming lack of interest in the first half?
I agree with this sentiment. Don’t think he will end up at Georgia. I was talking with a friend yesterday in Athens that used to work for the collective and he was trying to convince me Georgia was still interested in him. He claims his mother really wanted him at Georgia and the family isn’t happy with the o-line talent at Vandy. He felt Curtis not playing was related to ending up at Georgia. I don’t see it though.
He did say Jared is a different kid. He was living alone in Nashville in an apartment rather than with his family while in highschool which is a bit odd. Maybe it was to make the commute to that school easier. Still seems strange.
If your Clark Lea the risk versus reward calculus greatly favors not allowing Georgia to damage him.
After he gets a taste of no chance for championships at vandy. At some point he goes for the bigger bag at a brand name school. That school won’t be Georgia.
The guy looks soft.
Guys lie Curtis are dime a dozen.one school this year another next year. Look at Raiola
Vandy… where pussies go to hide. charmin soft. this dude has no balls. he is not a dawg.
