Your Daily Dawg P*rn doesn’t involve a 32 yard Dawg score, but it hinges upon a 32 yard field goal attempt. The action after it was blocked is something out of the genius of knowing the specific little nuances of the rule book, which, apparently, Christopher Smith knew like the back of his hand.
Let’s face it, both sides of the ball were thinking it the play was over, but Smith had other plans in mind. The play catapulted an absolute ass whooping for the first half of the SECCG. Even better, Monken was losing his mind as it happened (move it towards the end of the video).

Go Dawgs!
“…both sides of the ball were thinking it the play was over…”
I think the word both is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Six or so of our guys were hanging with Chris and when he picked it up they formed a convoy for Chris to go all the way. It looked like LSU had someone make a stab at running to catch Chris, but that was mostly trying to save face.
Mine dark side wonders if CKS brought up the “Play till the whistle blows” conversation during the Sunday/Monday team film sessions or just said, not right now…Just one rung of many on the way up the NC ladder….GO DAWGS!!
The Munson call of this one would have been pure Gold. Damn I miss him. Monk was a treat to watch, great catch by the CBS team.
Monken went from no. no, no to go, go, go.
