Independence Day Post – Fireworks are Real…How’re You Celebrating?

Just as a reminder, we are Orantes Grant days away from kickoff:

19 Sep 1998: Outside line backer Orantes Grant #58 of the Georgia Bulldogs looks on during a game against the Wyoming Cowboys at the Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. The Bulldogs defeated the Cowboys 16-9.

Also, as the caption indicates, there was a time we beat teams like Wyoming by only a touchdown. Yeesh.

Fittingly, since blackout mode will be where some of us are heading on the 4th, here’s your magic number your Dawg Porn for today:

Reminder that fireworks are very, very real:

Question of the Day:

How are you celebrating the 4th? What’s on the menu for your Independence Day cuisine?

Go Dawgs, and God bless America!

  1. In St. Simons with the family. Got a Low Country Boil planned for later and then heading to the pier for the fireworks. God Bless the…USA, USA, USA 🇺🇸!!!

  2. Probably just heading down to Tifton to my sister’s house. Just hamburgers and hot dogs I imagine.

  3. Ribs, chicken and plenty of drinking with friends at their pool. Happy 4th!

  4. The bride and I took kind of easy. Nod the “The Dude”. I did my annual reading of the Declaration of Independence. It never gets old. We will be heading to California next Tuesday to celebrate the beauty of this great nation by visiting a few national and state parks. Oh, and tasting some wine.
