Hope

Here’s hoping that everyone out there among our Refugees are safe, and if impacted by Helene, that life is coming back together day by day.

Yesterday I posted about “pain”, with a touch of optimism about our football team, but I hope it wasn’t tone deaf to those of us going through some very real and very tough times. If I did, my apologies.

As a little bit of football-related hope and optimism, in the spirit of our Dawgs, here’s some amazing images posted yesterday on Twix:

DGD, you gotta love to see Chubb getting back at it.

Go Dawgs.

  1. JP, did you know those aren’t clickable links in the app? For me to see what they are I have to go to the website. No big deal, just didn’t know if you knew.

    • Yeah, it’s weird. The app generally works well, but the links aren’t live for some reason.

I think I’ve gotten the desktop browser figured out. I have to refresh every time if I want to see my comments post, but they do post.

Momma says WordPress is the devil.

    • Interesting, I see all the Twix shots. I’ve used the app for years and typically have no issues

  2. How many major knee injuries has he had? I remember the one in college and that must be his second in the pros.

  3. chubb is superhuman but i worry about long term impacts…see the great Earl Campbell

  4. Ah the Astronerds in our technology shop put up a firewall that won’t let me on the site from work and I’m too proud to ask for how or permission. I still see the posts via email but can’t respond until I’m on my home network. I tried posting some from my phone but no joy.
I will be in Athens this weekend, my youngest son is getting engaged and planning a small get together Friday night soooo… We rented a place and plan on spending the weekend pub crawling and enjoying the atmosphere. Mrs. Cowdog has never been to Athens on gameday!
I do plan on making a pilgrimage Saturday AM to the tailgate, if only to stop by and pay my respects.
Keep up the good work, JP. I and many others appreciate it.
