  1. The biography omits the 1988 Gator Bowl, which is surprising since it was Dooley’s final game. Then again, judging from the editorial quality of the set as a whole it is not surprising.
That error made me realize that it has been 38 years since Dooley coached. It makes me curious as to how many Refugees never saw him coach. Shit, for that matter, it will be 31 years since Ray “Get Butter” Goff roamed the sidelines with a confused look on his face. How many Refugees were adult fans during those agonizing years? The under 40 Refugees only knew the Richt and Smart years as adults.

  2. First Dawg game l ever saw was coached by Johnny Griffith and we got beat by the gnats. Dodd was their coach, Billy Lothridge was QB and they had a big TE named Billy Mitchell. They beat us bad. Was in 62 or 63! One reason the Hate runs deep! They will
always be at the top of my Hate list. We went thru some tough times. FTMF’s!!! Go Dawgs!!

  3. I don’t understand why so many Georgia fans still run down Ray Goff. He sure gave us many exciting wins as a player, I’m sure he tried his best as a coach, he loves the university and is a good person who when you talked to him made you feel like what you had to say was important to him.
