Come to the Ewww

Wow, if this isn’t familiar and somewhat predictable.

I’m sure they’ll have the money to pay off any remaining contract ties with Missouri, as well as whatever refunds are due to Georgia. Wilson might be one of those guys who is getting paid at age 50 for the remainder of his NIL contracts like Bobby Bonilla still gets a check nowadays for games played in the 90s.

What a world. I’m sure he’ll enjoy instant succe$$ in South Beach, just like Carson did. And, as an added bonus, he may come to love the game that became a business for him again. I heard the sun, easy competition, and Miami will do that for you.

Respectfully, FTMF.

  1. Interesting. I’m hearing the culture isn’t the best at Da U. Pearce Spurlin had an offer from them Colorado and Colorado State in the portal. According to his his grandmother Pearce turned down Miami due to what he had heard about the culture there. He ended up at CSU because he liked the coach who was formerly at Georgia who recently joined Jim Mora’s staff. David Hill I believe is his name.

    • When your “culture” is formed by Ray Lewis, Michael Irvin and porn star fans you’ve got issues.

  2. Nice reference to the Mets idiocy (FTMF’s). A friend from high school always wishes everyone “Happy Bobby Bonilla Day” every July 1st.

My favorite little factoid about the Bonilla contract is that the Mets thought it was a no-brainer to do it, as they would make money by investing the deferred fee with a can’t-miss securities investor who always returned unbelievable profits.

That investor’s name was Bernie Madoff.

  3. Pretty sure Mizzou gave Wilson the money to pay off his UGA debt and he refused, so Miami only has to pay off Mizzou, and that’s only if he had a buyout clause. I have doubts about that though, since most expected him to go pro after his junior season.
