It’s only 2 weeks into the season, and Arkansas fans are acting like Saints’ fans from the 80s. They are calling for boycotts, paper bags (no way would I wear one in what the weather is going to be like tomorrow), and black outs. I do wonder if the Arkansas coaching staff is channeling an “it’s us against the world (including our own fans)” mentality as the 2nd ranked Dawgs come to Fayetteville in the SEC opener for both teams. Let’s get to the preview.
When Georgia has the ball
Given Arkansas’s trouble with the Utah passing game last Saturday night, today may be a great time for the Georgia passing game to get unleashed. While the Arkansas run defense was serviceable, the Utes still had 4 rushing TDs last week. I expect the Dawgs to generate yards and points. I would love to see Jaden Reddell get turned loose later today. It won’t be like the last 2 games, but anything below the mid 30s is probably a disappointment.
When Arkansas has the ball
As mentioned in the first look, Arkansas has had trouble generating any kind of running game. I expect Silverfield to run KJ Jackson and play 11 on 11. Both quarterbacks struggled in the passing game. Utah rang up 4 sacks on Saturday night, and I expect to see Georgia open up the defensive playbook a little to get pressure. Zayden Walker didn’t play much last Saturday, but this could be his kind of game.
What will happen
No turnovers. No sleepwalking. No playing with your food. If the Dawgs show up ready to play, I expect the Dawgs to win and win easily. I don’t think Arkansas is going to be able to do much against the Georgia defense. Therefore, field position should tilt against the Razorbacks for most of the day.
Dawgs win, but can they cover a big spread on the road? Dawgs take care of business and get ready for the Sooners’ visit to Athens.
Final Score: Georgia 35, Arkansas 13

Chopped or pulled is about all I disagree with on that preview ee. It’s amazing game 3 of a new coach and it already is a must win game. Or at minimum keep it close or else moment.
It’s probably a good thing to go on the road and run into a team ready to fight that’s highly overmatched. Good training for the future.
Stay healthy and slaughter the hogs quickly. It’s too hot to play with your pork.
Gonna be a scorcher out there today. It’s topped 100 the last two days. Arky comes out inspired by “us against the world” but runs out of steam in second half. Dawgs still roll big.
This. Once the fans quit early so will the home team. I like the 35-13 prediction.
I dunno, Guys. Somethin’ ’bout this post just ain’t kosher!!!
Or Islamic, lol.
Go Dawgs!!!
