4 more days, Fabris Pool prognosticators!

Signups continue for The 2024 Fabris Pool! As of this post, we have ninety (90!) pickers lined up for this Thursday night’s action to kick off Labor Day Weekend and Week 1. There’ll be a game on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday, with a slew of Saturday games from beginning at noon and ending just shy of midnight on the East coast.

If memory serves, we had 200-some-odd players at the old shop, so glad to see a goodly portion has found their way here! Pride and bragging rights are on the line. Pool Discussion post to go up later in the week.

Fabris Pool 2024 signups underway!

Here’s your link to sign up for our traditional season-long college football pick ’em!

Week One starts next week on the Thursday before Labor Day Weekend. If the link above doesn’t work, just copy and paste the link below into your browser.

Once inside the site, you won’t need a password to access the pool. Even if you have participated in the good Senator’s Fabris Pools in the past, you may have to create a new account.

The pool name is Fabris Pool 2024- GTP Refugees

For iPhone users, if you’d like to make picks each week on the app instead of the website, search for Fun Office Pools.  Android users will still need to enter picks on the website.

The first game will be on Thursday next week. You’ll have until game time of each individual game to make or change a pick for that game, but once it starts, that game is locked.  Email reminders from the site will be sent each week, along with a friendly reminder post here. Again, if any issues, please let me know and I’ll do my best to address any technical issues ASAP.

Games are worth 1 point apiece, with 12 games a week to pick.  There should be a good southern flavor to the picks, along with national games of note, with a few more interesting games due to conference realignment. Degenerate gamblers and Fullcast readers will appreciate the occasional scintillating matchups like !El Assico!  Weekly winners and season standings will be posted each week.

Don’t forget to pick the tiebreaker score. First tiebreak is combined score, then winning team’s score, then losing team score, should it go that far.

I can’t wait for the real season to start after FSU jumps in the Tech tickle pile in Dublin!

Good luck, GATA, and Go Dawgs!

Fabris Pool

A commenter brought up the Fabris Pool and that is definitely a tradition I’d like to keep going. However, I never participated so, I do not know very much about it or how to set it up. I went back and reviewed the Senator’s initial post on it from last year (which is only 4 days shy from being a year ago). He provides a link to a site called “Fun Office Pools” but, without knowing his login, I’m not sure what needs doing from here.

So, those of you that have participated, perhaps you can clue me in or point me to the right spot to set this up. Thanks!

Go Dawgs!
