The final friendly email reminder went out yesterday to past Fabris Pool participants who are (hopefully) waiting until the last minute to run it back in 2026.

As of this post, we’ve got 123 intrepid pickers rarin’ to go.

First game is tomorrow evening, Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 8:00. Picks for GT/Colorado lock at that time, but you can make or change picks for every game on the slate up until kickoff of each contest.*

    • Good question! Here’s the thought process from a couple week’s back:

      “After considering the thoughtful comments from some of y’all, I thought we might better enjoy an early Georgia cupcake game and concentrate on how we look rather than hoping the Dawgs unleash the offense and hang fifty-plus to cover, or worse, feeling a little queasy on picking against Georgia in what 🤞should be a sure-fire pound-pummelling…well, no need to jinx anything! We’ll give it a shot and see how it goes (against tasty cupcakes, anyway)”

    • Not only is the game not on the list but using Dish as my provider the UGA game is not being carried on the SEC Network. Instead I will be forced to watch, if I were so inclined, Kent State vs South Carolina and then N Alabama vs Arkansas. I will hide all the sharp edged blades in my house on Friday night. Damn!

    Just FYI, I have been playing the Pick ’em since the beginning with the Senator – same username, same email…and did not receive an email invite. (before you ask, yes I checked the junk folder).

    I am registered – just thought that you might want to know that the Fun Office Pool system may not be doing what you think it is.

    • Thanks for letting me know! I’ll let the pool folks know about this. This is one reason I post the invite several times in the lead up to the season as well as shoot an email from the site, just in case something goes wrong on my end. Glad you signed up and good luck!
