Florida and LSU are so undisciplined on the field. The swamp lizards are not buying in to Billy and aren’t doing the work it takes to be elite. Kelly keeps star players in who commit senseless penalties and miss assignments while jawing and preening. So many other teams are going to fall victim to this…looking at you FSU.
Culture. Standards. Accountability. No group of 18-22 year olds being handed the kind of money and fame in this social media world is going to be without problems, but Kirby and too few other coaches are getting a clear message across of what it takes to truly succeed in this environment. I’m convinced Saban quit because he no longer felt up to the task.
Florida is the number one stereotype for bad culture! Personal fouls, thrown tennis shoes, really talented players showing little effort, and a delusional/obnoxious fan base. How did they get to this point? If Karma is real, this all lies at the feet of two assholes: Spurrier and Meyer! Hope it never ends.

I said from the beginning that Brian Kelly at LSU didn’t make sense and wouldn’t work. To me it seemed obvious. He was perfect for Notre Dame and was stupid to leave.
Florida has got themselves one hell of a mess.And it’s such a mess at this point it’s goi g to be hard to clean up. Sun Belt Billy looked at agent Muschamp and said, “Pfffft. That ain’t nothin. Watch this.” They owe something like 26 mil on his buyout too so it’s not like they can just fire him without having to pass the hat quite a bit. And who that’s worth a shit is going to want that job?
The cherry on top is Sun Belt Billy was the guy they all wanted. And they still think they’re this close to winning titles again. Lagway ain’t hanging around either. They’re all on crack if they think he is. FTMF.
I think Boom is still on the payroll plus Mullen and Spurrier too for his advisor role. A new coach will come with an enormous price tag. They could be looking at $50 mil per year for the coaching budget. That’s a tough nut to swallow for any program. Might as well put Spurrier back on the sidelines to get some value out of him.
What exactly does Spurrier do anyway? Besides have a title and an office he basically gets paid for breathing as I understand it.
I love that they’re still paying Mullen. Speaking g of him, some time during the lead up to the ‘21 Cocktail Party a regular poster at GTP, I can’t remember who, compared Mullen to Zoro. The comparison wasn’t explained even though a few of us asked for an explanation. I thought it was hilarious and tried to keep it going by referring to him as Zoro any time the subject came up but apparently only a few of us saw it and it just went nowhere. Still makes me laugh when I think about it. I’m glad Zoro is still costing them.
