Bloody Week 6 in the ol’ Fabris Pool

As a good friend put it in church this morning, the possible signs of the end times are out there, but he wasn’t sure the aggregate of recent and ongoing natural disasters, wars, or crazy political shenanigans pointed towards any need to get right right away.

Then Vanderbilt beat Alabama.

In my neck of the woods, the attendance on the Sunday after Georgia/Auburn rivals “Low Sunday” the week after Easter, there being significant fans of each in our part of the state.

Not today…the thunderbolt in Nashville must have stirred a few souls to get on up and get to church. Just sayin’.

EDIT: Picker Nil Butron is a Pud had a feeling about Vandy…hope he followed through!

On to the results!

Forest_Dawg with the 5-way tiebreak victory! Run, Forest!
Stuart Dawg holds the top spot for the second week in a row, nice going, Stu!

(Your humble commish won the tiebreaker for all those poor souls who went 3-9 this week in 104th place. Don’t cry for me, though. Yesterday’s carnage was more than satisfying; a gentle salve for my poor pickems this week.)

Week 7 brings the Bizzaro Dogs and more cowbell to Athens. Good luck!

Your ever-humble commish,

Dawglicious

  1. Unfortunately, ’twas all bluster. I lost my nerve and picked Bama to cover, which gave me a stellar, if typical, 4-8 outing. And that’s why I don’t gamble with actual money…
