These guys are friends. Wouldn’t doubt that kirby thinks he can be an asset.
Not only could Billy help this week or next season in some capacity, he might be able to tell Kirby who he should and shouldn’t try and poach from Florida.
Boom has left a hole in the defensive staff. Napier’s not Boom but would be a good addition and support if Schumann gets a HC gig.
Except Napier is an offensive coach and was WR coach at Bama. My guess is that if he offers Napier a role it will be as an offensive analyst first unless CKS expects Coley to be moving on.

He was WRs coach at Bama for 4 seasons. I’d be just fine with him staying a while in Athens.
I have no issue with Napier being in Athens for this week and/or joining the staff as an analyst or assistant coach. Our current HC is the best in the game right now. He learned from the greatest coach of the CFP era and one of the best of all-time. Saban would do this all the time.
Plus Smart advocated for Napier to join the Saban staff, so CKS has a knowledge of Napier’s strengths and weaknesses. He will put Napier in the best position to succeed which will benefit the team.
There’s something satisfying about hiring from the enemy while the enemy is still paying them. We could get his insights on the cheap, thanks to the Handbags.

As far as Archduke getting info, the collection of information is not his problem, just go talk to uncle Peyton or uncle Eli. His problem is execution of the information collected. So have at it young man, get all the info you want, not going to do you much good when the hits rattles your bones and you begin hearing footsteps.
