If this isn’t a testament to Kirby’s dedication to recruiting, I don’t know what is. Apparently one of his recruiting analysts is Andrew Smart.

I guess when Kirby gets too old he can just hand the family business over to the kids.

Someday there will be a statue, and it will be well-deserved.

  1. We are so blessed he’s right where he wants to be. Not an Urban Meyer or Lincoln Riley type guy.

    Hopefully that statue is at the stadium.

    • Don’t need no stinkin’ statue…just name everything with a KIRBY in it…KIRBY county, City of KIRBY, KIRBY Street, KIRBY beer, KIRBY ford, no longer will it be called a full moon, it’s now a FullKIRBY, your first born child..KIRBY, “I’ll have a double cheese KIRBY, a vanilla KIRBY and a order of KIRBY to go…all access KIRBY, all the KIRBY time….GO DAWGS!!

  2. The Smart Dome at Sanford Stadium & Dooley Field. It will resemble the bowl haircut and we will love it.

  4. I agree with him about Branch. You can tell how much that kid loves to play the game. Even when he doesn’t have the ball, he’s out there blocking hard. When he does catch it and (rarely) get blown up, he jumps right up and celebrates the catch. Always has a smile on his face. He’s fun to watch.

    And maybe Andrew takes over for his dad in 15 years? What’s a little nepotism between us Dawgs?
