If I have this right, Walker just signed for another 4 years and over $100 million with the Jaguars, and Davis, Wyatt, Dean, and Walker all just signed three year extensions for nice sums of money.
Maybe there’s something to Kirby’s formula for guys being role players during their early years just to blossom into NFL millionaires.

The fact UGA hasn’t answered for why a 26 yo woman, twice the legal alcohol limit was driving around underage athletes and let Jalen Carter – in another car – that voluntarily returned to the scene to pass a sobriety test – take the heat on this, still remains fishy. Then there’s the narrative that he fled. If you’re going around a curve in excess of 90 mph at night you can’t see the drunk behind you go off the road. NOT DEFENDING ANYTHING just the fact Carter is somehow the problem and not UGA has always made me wonder.
The real question is why that SUV was not parked at Butts-Mehre with the keys secured safely inside the building after all recruiting activities from that day were complete. The individual driving should not have been using that vehicle to transport anyone after hours even before the first consumption of alcohol occurred.

On Brooks Austin’s show last night they said that all the players from that ’21 defense who are in the NFL now have collectively signed for almost half a billion dollars in second contracts so far. I imagine that will be mentioned in conversations with future recruits.
