It’s worth mentioning, it was good weekend for Georgia athletics. Spanking the Longhorns in Austin aside, there was also:

Diamond Dawgs swept Florida Gulf Coast, including three walk off wins:

The Gym Dawgs look like they’re starting to return to form:

And the Lady Dawgs upset everyone’s favorite, the Lady Vols…in Knoxville!

  2. The co-head coach strategy of the Gym Dawgs is working … one as recruiter, one as Simone Biles’s former personal coach. They may not contend for a Super 6 spot this year, but I imagine the rest of the sport would be just fine if Georgia remained down.

    The Diamond Dawgs can be overwhelming. I’m just hoping the runs allowed this weekend aren’t a harbinger for the SEC slate.

    Damn , the Hoop Dawgs are going to suck me in at the end of the season to get excited for the tournament. Make March matter!

    Beating the Hillbillies in women’s hoops on their own home floor was the cherry on top!

  3. As big as the Florida win was (and it was huge), it pales in comparison to the Lady Dawgs winning in ObKnoxville. Go Dawgs!

  4. The gym dogs have new leadership and significantly better performance than the last 3 seasons. Josh waited too long to pull the trigger on Kuppets, Crean and Strickland. Too bad Kirby calls the shots on Bobo.
