Message Board Geniuses – Auburn sucks edition

How far has Auburn fallen? They think they are going to become Indiana.

For those who think the Indiana blueprint is easy to copy, I have some oceanfront real estate in Hahira to sell you.

We’re also going to see how sustainable the Indiana model is going forward now that all of the COVID players are pretty much gone now.

Refugees, discuss.

I've been a Dawg my entire life. UGA was always my dream school where I received 2 Terry College degrees and met my DGD wife. I've been a season ticket holder for over 30 years and love the in-stadium experience over anything from Section HD. My first game in Sanford Stadium was the 1981 Auburn game where we clinched the SEC championship. The best game I've attended in person was the Midnight Miss against Ohio State (nite, nite!). The best home games I've attended were the 1984 Clemson game (the Butler did it) and the 2013 LSU game (that 4th down is still the loudest single moment I've experienced between the hedges). The game I love to win is against the Handbags (FTMF), and the game I hate to lose is the NATS (Tuck Fech).

  1. I agree with him just a little different version of Indiana. Say the preCOVID Indiana the team that everyone beats is where they’re headed.

    Auburn football sucks!

  2. I can remember when Nebraska had a lineup of mostly Redshirt Seniors and Osborne didn’t do it by mistake. Older, more mature players. Let’s see what the Cig can do this year. Golesh ain’t playing with 5 and 6 year seniors. So Allburn will still suck.

  3. I recon it depends on how long the inmates to the east alabama reform school for wayward chill’ren at auburn are sentenced vs how long the NCAA rules committee keeps them eligible. Sounds like an algebra problem to my ownself!!

  4. Ahhh…springtime when the puffins fly back to San Louie Opisbo, Cinco de Mayonnaise is celebrated and Auburn predicts their greatness.

  5. Funny that Mr. Casa de Karlos Dansby has to go back 16(!) years to find a time that Bama and UGA worried about losing to Auburn.

Hell, that long ago there was still a tree in Toomer’s Corner for them to toss their shitter paper in, and sCam didn’t yet dress like Dolemite’s sister…

  6. Love when someone points out something not discussed – they had like 47 5 – 6 year players. THey won’t have that next year. Let’s discuss then. Indiana could be better than pre Cignetti and he is a great coach. But how good or bad will it be coming off a Natty and all the hype. Also – a circle is on your back. Last – year watch the close games – EVERYTHING went their way. Look at turnovers, how the ball bounced against Oregon. THings that if they don’t and you don’t have 47 Elder seniors – how do you handle and respond.

  7. Having the #1 overall draft pick for their trigger man couldn’t have hurt. Auburn likely won’t have that. Cig seems to get his less ranked players to execute better than the competition for whatever reason. Maybe he’s figured out how to find motivated, intelligent, and talented enough players that row together and can beat anyone they face that isn’t doing the same thing at their level. Auburn likely won’t be that team. Auburn is trying to be Alabama, and Bama got their butts kicked by Hoosier diddy.
