Ellis, Islanded

Gotdammit.

This is getting too close for comfort.

The Georgia Bulldogs are expected to be without star cornerback Ellis Robinson for their spring game. Robinson, according to a report from Dawg Central’s Graham Coffey, is out for the G-Day game after suffering a high ankle sprain. The redshirt sophomore cornerback could decide to undergo TightRope surgery on his ankle.

In the past, Georgia players like offensive lineman Tate Ratledge and tight end Brock Bowers underwent TightRope surgery to return later in the season. Robinson will look to return in time for the start of Georgia’s fall camp. His injury will be something to watch later this summer.

Robinson reportedly suffered his injury on Georgia’s practice on Tuesday, which was the same day that edge rusher Amaris Williams suffered a serious knee injury. Williams is expected to miss the entire 2026 season. Robinson will be missed while he is out. He played a critical role in Georgia’s 2025 SEC championship win over Alabama.

Maybe we need to rethink Bloody Tuesdays? Or maybe we need to look for nearby electric stations like they have in San Francisco.

Praying for a speedy recovery. Very speedy.
