Aggies lends itself so easily to a play on words you could make given the recent video leak of this, but I wont’ go there. Especially in this day and age.
Anyway, Georgia is currently up 3-0 in game 2 against the Aggies, and prevailed in the first game 9-4. Why is this significant?
First, TAMU is another ranked SEC team. That’s always a big deal.
Second, coming in to the series, they were one of the top three hitting teams in the league, which is putting a test to our pitching staff.
So far, fingers crossed, we are holding up well. Let’s hope it holds up today and tomorrow, too.
Watched the Lady Dawgs against UVA. Went to OT and Dawgs lost. They showed much more fight and spirit than the men’s team.
Oh, and beating the Cult is aways a good thing.
Watched the end of the game, too. We were up seven when I tuned it, then dropped it in Overtime. Guess I’m a watching curse for the women’s team, too. Yeesh.
8-2 final for Diamond Dawgs! Got the first two, let’s just make it a clean sweep tomorrow. If the Ags are a good hitting team, then our pitchers have been dealing the first two games. And chick’s dig the long ball, we had 5 today. Go Dawgs!
