To do my level best to not post about Georgia Basketball again, not until it seems like we’re taking it seriously in Athens, anyway. It was a twenty point loss, so there’s that. I’ll try to shut up now.
Meanwhile, there is a program that’s taking it very seriously, and it’s Lady Bulldog Tennis.

Congratulations to the tennis team! Pretty cool! As far as the Hoop Dawgs, they’re just up and down from what I can tell. It didn’t help not having Jeremiah Wilkinson last night, but he’s inconsistent too so there’s no guarantee he’ll even contribute in some games. Hopefully we’ll still make it to the tournament, but it could be one and done if we don’t catch fire if we even get there. And fuck Florida!!!
Despite the inaction of the prior UGA ad, UGA tennis (mens/womens) has the backing of the current UGA AD, which is needed for a sport that requires constant publicity (track and field) is another that needs the same attention…GO DAWGS!!
Greg McGoofity was a member of the men’s tennis team under Dan Magill. It sickens me he let Magill’s magnificent vision for tennis at UGA literally crumble so badly that we lost the NCAA tournament due to shoddy facilities. The man’s name should be stricken from the roster and never spoken around here again.

The women’s tennis coach is elite. In other news the butt smear gives a big guaranteed contract to an average (at best) basketball coach and the team gets smoked by his former team. This is the Scott Stricklin situation 2.0, or Crean 2.0 you pick. Georgia should stop playing men’s basketball to save the heartache and money for football.
They gave White a raise and extension. They ought to have sent his ass packing. Brooks screwed this one up. 75-53 overall. SEC 25-40. We extended Fluradus reject. Just damn.

This year’s squad is dead to me and I might turn on the Tennis & Beisbol teams for associating with them.
Hell, anybody can schedule 20 wins. If I’m Brooks I’m looking at the SEC record. That’s what counts! How does 25 – 40 sound Brooksy. Sounds like his ass should be sitting in the commentator both next year.
