The current shortest QBs in the NFL are Kyler Murray and Bryce Young, both 5’10”.
Stetson Bennett is 5’11”.
Of course, if he wasn’t such a pompous asshole, people could see past it. Since that’s not the case, though, people had a field day with it.

He probably plays with a chip on his shoulder because of his height and being told he cannot play QB at a high level. He is even smaller than Doug Flutie (according to Flutie’s bio, he is 5’10”.)
You joke about Pavia playing soccer, but perhaps someone should have had that discussion with him long ago. Even though he had a 7-year career in the NFL (he was a free agent for all of 2025), Isaiah McKenzie had the athletic skills, quick feet, and burst to be a terrific soccer player.
At 5’7″/5’8″, McKenzie is the same size as Lionel Messi although he outweighs him by about 20/25 pounds.
Obviously, you cannot predict the outcome but McKenzie played 7 professional seasons and appears to be done with football at 30 with career earnings at $8.4 million. Messi is 38 years old, is starting his 23 professional season, and has earned $1.5 billion.

Seriously, when we’re talking about listed height and weight in athletes – especially in football – I think many of such stats may charitably be said to be inflated. Flutie might be 5′ 10′ if he is wearing boots with a 2′ heel, for example. Just saying.
