Haynes King reminds me of a QB of a flag football team. I watched a little of their game last night and noticed that he is quick to take off running after dropping back to pass. He’s either impatient and doesn’t let plays develop, has a crappy O-Line or he’s just a ball hog and loves to run and get stats. From what I saw last night, their “Heisman QB” played like he was a flag football QB, dropping back and almost instantly running. No patience in the pocket, not letting the play develop, just running most of the time. King is the key. We can’t let him run free.

Interesting Tech stat. In conference games only Tech’s net yards per play is minus 0.14 yards. They averaged 6.6 yards per play against ACC teams and gave up 6,74 yards per play against ACC team.
Georgia averaged gaining 5.97 yards per play against SEC teams and gave up 4.84 yards per play against SEC competition, a net positive of 1.13 yards per play.
Another statistical comparison. Georgia’s yards per play versus ranked teams: gained 6.08 yards per game and gave up 5.69, another of plus 0.31.
Tech’ stats are a null set. It played zero ranked teams.
I just hope we don’t get into another Ole Miss type game where the first team to punt loses. We need to press their big receiver and pressure King.
Our young DBs are playing better than they did earlier in the year. Our young defensive linemen are improving. We are the better team and tested against better teams than Tech played. Is Tech capable of winning? Sure, but the better team usually wins.
God I want to beat the shit out of them.

Tech fans and especially their coach are still playing last year’s game. I kinda wanna warn them that thinking usually backfires but…..
It’s simple. We beat them. We break them.
I enjoyed watching the north avenue erector set full of students who were apparently attending a game for the first time. Most had no clue what was going on. Oh but they were in high spirits and oh! The yellow! So many shades of yellow! Except for those who thought it was a white out.
It’s very rare that I laugh my arse off at anything my dumb arse didn’t do – and let’s be real, I’m a grade a idiot. That being said, I think I have new laugh lines from that game. This is an all time Tech Tank Job. My friends and I will be watching the opening “We Run This State” drive every day (if not on a continual loop) this week.
They’ve obviously been working on UGA install for the last 2 months and it has cost them.
They play a one game season.
Let’s ruin that season.
