Our long national nightmare is over!

Some potential for CFP chaos today. Florida has the opportunity to do something that would be hilarious, considering all the smoke around Kiffin, FU and OM. And, Pitt, please rid us of this overrated, overhyped Notre Dame team. And, I shouldn’t have to say it but, goshdarn it, I love saying it, to hell with Georgia Tech, go Eagles! And, go Wolfpack… just because.

Go Hawkeyes.

  1. Revenge Saturday with locks you can take to the bank (even you CarolinaDawg — after Kirbys cover last week).

    TAMU -17 USCe (Cocks 44-20 last year)
    Bama -5.5 Okla (Boomer 24-3 last year)
    Iowa +7 USC (just bc JR pissed me off up top & SC looking forward to Oregon)

    • Looks like Elko was more interested in his contract extension than playing SC.

    • Good grief…South Carolina could be putting Georgia in the SECCG….not sure I feel about that.

        • We’ve done ok with in season rematches.

          I don’t think they’ve beaten us twice in a single season….

          Anyway there could be three games with them…. So get used to it.

      They will ruin someone’s Saturday along the way. Especially, at Williams-Brice.

  5. I don’t keep up with A&M but the announcer just said they’ve played “7 of the bottom 8 in the SEC”.

  9. Whoever was calling plays for TAMU when they were 2nd and 1 on the SC goal line should be tried for coaching malpractice. You have a huge QB and a massive, seasoned OL so why not line him up UNDER center and straight ahead. You have 3 downs to get 1 yard. The SC defense as sucking wind and worn out. With the ability of a back to give you a push, that should be almost automatic. LOW LOW RISK and hard to stop. Instead, they tried to get cute with the trick play and gave SC a chance to pull off the massive upset. Anyone who watches SEC shorts should have been looking for the Battered Aggie Syndrome to show up along with HOPE.

    • Never seen a team fold the way SC did in that second half.
      They couldn’t do anything right.
      Good grief what a horrible flop.

  10. Anyone else see it?
    Bama player almost broke Mateer’s neck pulling his facemask…his chin actually seperated from his chinstrap..the refs picked up the flag and declared “no penalty”.
    This was late in the half with OK leading by 3.
    The game seems pretty fairlycalled, but I’d like to hear the official explanation for that call changed to a no-call.

    • I thought hands to the face was thing. Remember Bennett’s winner to Bowers? We declined cause we scored. I don’t know the difference.

  11. LMAO…after the time keeper let Bama run more plays with only 10 seconds left than most teams can run in a minute, Bama missed the chip shot FG at the end of the half.

  13. As best as I can tell, Bama had three turnovers total the last five times we’ve played. They had three tonight.

  15. If Auburn can muster some offense, they have the defense and the motivation to beat them two weeks from now.

    • As m7ch as I would love to see that, I’d also be okay if Bama wins and we can sit out the SEC championship.
