Good morning! It’s bye week. Kinda cuts both ways… a needed break for the team but, dammit, it’s been a week since I got to watch Georgia football, now I gotta wait another…

So, take today as an opportunity to enjoy some libations, cheer for our enemies to lose and always root for the underdog (unless they’re playing my team).

  4. I’ll say that Oklahoma beats Ole Miss today. Also think LSU may win. Best matchup is Mizz v. Vandy. Outside of that I’m pulling for Syracuse, South Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi State, and UCLA. I guy can wish, right?

  6. Im looking forward to Indiana making the playoffs undefeated or with one loss to OSU, the promptly getting the snot beat out of them.

  8. I noticed all the announcers are referring the 2 point play as the Dos Equis go for 2 point conversion. Thought they were just joking last week, but hearing it again this week confirms brand patches on jerseys will be here by next year.

  9. Alabama remains the luckiest SOB’s in college football. Pick 6 off an accurate pass that bounced out of the receivers gut. Good grief.

    • I think they’re going to have trouble with Auburn’s defense..Auburn is the best crummy team in the country. If they can manage a lil’ bit of offense and avoid penalties.
      I hate Auburn…and Bama as much.
      Meteor game actually.

      • Today’s AU game was a meteor game. I flipped it on and thought “I’ll pull for Arky”. Then I realized that meant I was pulling for Patrino. That’s so repulsive I thought, “Guess I’ll pull for AU”. As dirty as that is it’s still less dirty than pulling for Patrino. Then I thought “Hugh Freeze…..”

  10. Watching Darris Smith and Damon Wilson chasing Pavia down on several plays makes you wonder what caused them to leave. Money, playing time, personality conflict? Who knows, but we sure could use them.

    • Smith was in and out of the doghouse with Kirby and also had gotten hurt a couple of times.

      Damon Wilson pulled a Nico after the season last year. He wanted to have his NIL renegotiated. I believe there was a buyout involved.

    • When Marvin Jones got a sack for OU today it made me a little sick that he has a natty ring from UGA and we can’t sack nobody.

  11. There was a lot of complaining about our defensive coaches last week. This week Ole Miss played the best total defense and best scoring defense on the road and gained more yards and scored 1 fewer point than it scored against us. Maybe our coaches are as bad as some assert.

    • I was one of those that was livid about CGS and his D last week. I get your point but, still can’t get past giving up 7 TD’s on the first 7 possessions. Glad they finally adjusted and got stops but, that was an abysmal 3 quarters of defense.

  13. Is Carolina the Mississippi State of the East, or is Mississippi State the Carolina of the West? Each usually wins one they’re not supposed to, but they are also just as likely to tease their fans with a huge upset, only to choke it away in a spectacular fashion.

    • Both were able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in spectacularly stupid fashion.
      Also…..The Gumps supply of 4-leaf clovers and lucky rabbit’s feet has to be about to run out.
