Here’s to You, Mr. Robinson

I know a lot of us around here were asking where Robinson was last year, and now it looks like we’re about to see a lot more of him. Ellis has a massive upside, and Kirby’s propensity for developing elite secondary players may have us witnessing something special this season.

  1. Gotta get Robinson on the field or he may decide to find another team that will. Play him Kirby!!

    • He wasn’t playing before because HE DIDN’T KNOW the defense. In HS you can get away with it…not a UGA.

  2. His body wasn’t ready. Even the field corner has run support/edge responsibility in this defense. If Robinson was going to be a liability in the run game or in the screen game, he wasn’t going to play base defense snaps. I was surprised we didn’t see him in dime looks last year where the responsibility is primarily coverage.

  3. Understanding the “standard” for UGA football secondary development (1st/2nd teamers), if the UGA football x,y,z positions are either equal to or slightly better than each other, this is very heading stuff and I ain’t talking high cotton, that is some “bold stuff there, cotton”…GO DAWGS!!

  4. No clue who ‘Trey’ is. Apparently trying to get as much blasphemous language as possible in a short snippet. I can do without it.
