Let’s just say this is the most naming thing I’ve seen from the NIL era to date, in that it appears that Tennessee and UCLA have executed the first ever NIL trade.
Aguilar is on his third school now, from App State to UCLA and now back to Tennessee. And to make it even more interesting, the other Iamaleava brother who just left UCLA for Arkansas is now entering the portal again, probably to head back west.
I realize this is a Georgia football blog, but my God this offseason is worse than the NFL free agency drama in most seasons. If there’s one thing I’m appreciating in this moment, though, is that the movement in Athens has been relatively little and quiet, though that could change with Georgia’s latest portal additions from the busy weekend.
Meanwhile, just a reminder that this guy did it all for free:
Hard to believe that wasn’t all that long ago, amirite?
I’m actually worried about UT getting Aguilar. I sae him play at App State and he’s a dawned good QB. I would argue he’s more consistent and reliable than Nico.
Beat me to it. It appears that the vowels have hoodwinked UCLA…
And on the next episode of “As the Portal Door Turns”: Tennessee Tampering: How Bobby Hill Improved the QB Room and Freed NIL Money by Dumping Nico Iamaliability”. Good watching.
Could this be the true meaning of “addition buy subtraction”…News at 6…
How long is this ridiculous chaos going to last? Coaches make big bucks but they deserve a little stability too.
Given the court decision in favor of the Vandy QB, can’t we bring Chubb back? How chaoticly delicious would that be?
Hope to see Chubb playing on Sundays this upcoming season…he is the picture next to the definition of DGD
I have come to the conclusion that Nick Chubb is not human. He is some kind of genetic creation from a lab. No normal human could keep bouncing back from what he has and still play at that high of a level.
