Dan to Dan Combat

No, you’re not hearing double. There’s a Dan Jackson on the Diamond Dawgs, too, and they did the funniest thing ever with the first pitch at Foley yesterday.

Seemed to work out well, as the Dawgs scored 10 unanswered in what has been the continuation of starting pitching failing early and the bullpen taking over the rest of the way (Goldstein recorded a third of an inning, surrendering two walks and a three run home run before getting yanked).

The Dawgs return to action today at 2…on SEC Network+!

  1. It’s clear the Diamond Dawgs are going to need pitching by committee and just pummel the ball for 9 innings. That’s not a recipe that gets through a super where everyone has hitting and most have an ace that can get a game 1 victory.

    Dan Jackson -> DGD.

    • Good pitching usually beats good hitting. Hopefully some develops for the good guys. For now they sure are fun to watch.
