I’m quickly becoming a fan of the LA Rams. You gotta love how they’re rallying around Stetson.
Let’s face it, if there was ever a person out there who embraces second (and third and fourth) chances, Stetson Bennett is your man. Someday I suspect he will make a damn fine QB coach…or maybe a good sports psychologist.
I think Stetson must take the psychological approach of my own dear old daddy (RIP). Despite a childhood that would have destroyed most people and two tours of duty in Vietnam seeing some of the heaviest and most intense action of the war he was one of the most well adjusted and happiest people I’ve ever known. His secret when it came to the crap pies life throws and how he was able to deal with it so well; “I just think about something else.” I do believe Stetson must have that same ability to compartmentalize.
don’t sleep on Stet…that dude’s superpower is knowing his self worth…
Can’t help but think that Stet won’t be done until he QB’s a Super Bowl win. Not because he deserves it, or because it will make a great 3rd act for his eventual biopic. But because he simply wills himself to do it. Ain’t no quit in that boy.
Really love seeing that Stet is still in the NFL and potentially making real progress.
