Man, am I glad we don’t find ourselves on this list.
Fun fact, Auburn appears here three times and, combined with the colossal failure that was Bayou Brian Kelly, make up over a third of the total buyouts on the graphic.
Must be something about a Tiger never changing its stripes, or something like that. I can only imagine what this will look like once Kiffin and Golesh are run out of dodge, especially Kiffin, which could happen within the next calendar year given Lane’s reputation and extra-curricular activities.
Apparently the Laner was being quite creepy regarding Livy Dunne at the recent LSU gymnastics meet.
You can’t get all the freshwater out of people like him.
welp, when a 100mph brick drills his dome we’ll know the pitcher from Pittsburgh is a man who cares…
I was going to say Freshwater had better go for it now when he makes more $$$ than her boyfriend. Skenes is eligible for arbitration at the end of this season and he will see a huge salary bump. Also its a good time to post a link to Kiffin’s Krimson Korner .. it never gets old. https://youtu.be/0TvJy2Ot48M?si=YcN8De1zBSV37uIq
Lol, it’s been updated and for the record: I’ve never seen Kiffin and Daniel Tosh in the same place. It’s all a work

Yep …
If not already, Texas A&M alumni could eventually be the biggest money wasters in the history of college football, with not much to show for it. I hope it keeps not working out for them as long as they keep having sh!t for brains.
Alum will punch another hole in the ground or open up another Buc-ee’s on I-75 to pay for it all…no big deal!
How can the kensucky kitties afford Stoops’ buy out and, given the mediocrity during his tenure, how was it that high?
Kentucky hates Indiana, so what has happened the last couple of years in Bloomington had to piss off the UK power structure.
Stoops is the most successful coach at Kentucky since Bear Bryant. He coached more games at UK than any coach in Wildcat history.
possibly won more games than Indiana the past couple of decades
Paying coaches not to coach for you seems a permanent ticket to mediocrity in the NIL era. Those numbers are just astounding.
Wow, other than Coach O that is a commitment to excrement by everyone involved. I think Coach O got the pay day AFTER his ring. At 5% is that $15 mill in Jimmy Sexton’s pocket? What a genius business model – trick losers in to paying big money and then clocking that buyout within a few years when you talk them into hiring your suggested replacement for even more. Glad to be upstream of that
Did anyone see this exercise in thought?

As a rule, I think Russo is pretty good at explaining the more complex issues in college football and he seems to like to take both Bruce Feldman and Stewart Mandel to task. For that matter even Mandel takes Feldman to task because he is a total schmuck. But this is just nonsense because he has nothing else to talk about.
He has Buster Faulkner as GT’s coach in 2030 replacing Brent Key (who knows where he goes) while he has Sumrall replacing DeBoer at Alabama. Given that this assumes the UF is successful under Sumrall, why would they not hire Faulkner as his replacement in Gainesville. Why would Faulkner choose GT over UF?
He wisely says let’s not overthink it for us and has CKS in place in 2030. But if the fun part of this article is to just toss wild nonsense in the air, why don’t you just say the CKS is gone and we throw $25m a year at Mike MacDonald?
The President’s of these universities should all be fired.
What a waste.
