Well, this, by all appearances is a do-or-die game for our beloved Dawgs. The college football industrial complex deep-state has organized and conspired against our canine warriors to push them out of the playoff tournament. Well, to that, we say hell naw! It ain’t over. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell naw! And it ain’t over now!

It is pretty much a playoff elimination game tonight. How will these Dawgs respond? We will see.
This post is your open thread for commenting during the game tonight.
Go Dawgs!
GATA…and FTMF’S!!!

GO DAWGS
How are we 9.5 point favorites? I have to beleive Nico is not playing or is in worse shape than is being shared. I have a hard time seeing how we score 10 points. That’s why I am here and not on the sideline, Go Dawgs!!!
That’s funny, my buddy told me the line early in the week & I had the same question. Do you think we can score ten points?
I have my doubts.
Backs are against the wall. This is the kind of situation where Kirby thrives. If them boys can’t get focused and fired up for this game, there’s no hope for them.
One way or another the fixing of the things that are wrong begins today.
Amen! Better never rests!
Our oline better get their asses ready.
I will do my part. I will be there when the gates open, I will be loud the entire game(wearing my ear plugs) and I won’t leave early no matter what the score. I hope the rest of the fans do the same.
You are DGD Debby!
Does anyone know why the tech game was moved to Friday? My wife asked me & I had no idea.
I’ll give you three gue$$e$ and the fir$t two don’t count.
TV.
The Dawgs CAN win this game. If they show up and play the way they did against Clemson and Texas they WILL win this game. If they show up and play the way they did against Ole Miss they may get embarrassed in our home stadium. But, if this game isn’t motivation enough to play their best game of the year, the team has bigger problems than any of us realized. Although beating Tech isn’t going to be easy, Tennessee is the key to getting into the playoffs. Go Dawgs!
Pre golf this morning — Vols and ugly.
Post golf & a few beers/liquor drinks, DAWGS & cover!!! Kirbs loves this shit…never doubt him….he brings the heat tonight!!!
Not sure what analyst consulted you to change your mind, Jim Beam helped out today at my house. We should be good.
If Beck could place a ball like Lagway, we’d be dangerous. Even with our WRs only catching every other target. Pollack said Beck and Bobo are the only UGA qbs to ever throw 12 picks over 6 games. Hope they aren’t colluding to break the record tonight. And along come Dawgy Downer!
The students are here and the crowd is in black. The sound system is blaring.
Special guest attending today….
WTH
Does anyone know the last time we lost 2 games in a row? I think Kirby will simply refuse to let that happen.
Most bi-polar team I’ve ever watched at UGA. No idea what happens…
Damn good show by the students tonight. The student sections were packed almost an hour before the game.
Arian Smith STRIKES AGAIN!! 10.0 flat speed, but unfortunately 11.0 flat hands.
Hope and prayer with no separation or WRs that can catch. Now we know tonight’s losing offensive strategy. Totally dominated on both sides in round 1. This is just a team with a talent gap. Not sure how it happened. But it happened and it’s real. Ready for this year to be over.
There’s no way I’d ever throw Arian another pass. Ever.
Perfectly scripted for the vols. I’m done with hoping Smith will ever catch a deep ball.
The one deep ball against anOSU in the CFB playoffs is such an anomaly. Even when I see the replays 2 years later, I expect him to drop it.
Offense doesn’t have a pulse. Defense barely does. Cheer louder, Miss Debby! I mean, it’s gotta be the fans’ fault, right, Kirby?
The offense is f’n awful. Just awful.
Fucking hell. Can’t anybody catch the damn ball?
Nope!
This is just comical at this point.
Dawgs really seem to have lost their way.
We must not have a running game…opening up with a low-percentage bomb that put us behind the chains. But Beck did put that ball right on the money for the drop….and now Tennessee is already up by 7.
Again, our ability to pressure the QB has disappeared and so has solid tackling. We’ve already given Tennessee a heap of yards after contact.
I hope we can turn it around but this looks a lot like last week to me so far.
We look again like the nervous and intimidated underdog…maybe we are. As I write this, we just had another drop…and punted. If Tennessee drives the field like their last drive I think the rout is on. Sorry for the negativity but I’m just telling it like I see it. My heart hurts for this team and especially for Beck…who is getting the bulk of the undeserved blame.
People will be screaming for Bobo’s head but when your two best receivers drop balls and you try a freshman who can’t adjust to the open field what can he do? Somebody has got to step up and quit waiting for someone else to make a play.
Sorry, if your 2 best WRs drop balls, they aren’t your 2 best WRs.
Beck has had time to throw so offensive line doing ok there. We just can’t catch, tackle, run the ball, or cover receivers.
But we are the best a defensive pass interference in the SEC!!
Common on, TX Dawg, we didn’t have any OPI last. At least I don’t remember any. We weren’t close enough to their receivers interfere.
Dang it, DPI
Already leaving a guy playing spy when I think we’ve seen that strategy fail before. Lord let the playmakers play.
And if we’re going to test Tennessee vertically, let’s have Evans or Tuggle try it instead. Just once.
Good stop by the D. Let’s hope the O finds a bit of inspiration. At this point I’d settle for at least a little perspiration.
F it. Run the toss sweep every play and kill clock.
When they showed the view behind the 3rd down pass that was batted down, I’m not sure it would have mattered. The Tennessee DB had the receiver covered like a paint job. Our guys get ZERO separation.
If it hadn’t been tipped the DB was holding the hell out of our receiver. If it would have been called, who knows?
No it wouldn’t have been called.
You’re right about that.
Funny thing about Lockett making that big catch. He didn’t catch it with his hands, as I assumed all WRs are taught. It came all the way to his chest, and still came within a whisker of being another drop.
I miss the days of stickum.
Thorsen our leading scorer with 4 points. Someone on the D needs to go scream at the O to get their shot together.
Oh, my God! A catch! I mean, it was thrown into double coverage and Luckie was open, but…WE CAUGHT THE BALL!
I didn’t like Gary and Vern but HATE Herbstreit! He has a major man-crush on Niko and Phat Phil.
Attaboy Carson. Get into the mix.
Good run by Carson!
Great throw and CATCH for the TD!
Beck is sharp..he just needs his receivers to do their best work.
O-line blocking! WR separation! A catch! There’s hope yet, lads.
Damn it! DON’T GIVE ME HOPE!
I’m surprised the refs didn’t find a way to screw us out of a score.
Finally!!! O showing signs of life.
Get over the BS and beat the shit out of these orange clowns. Smash their faces with a hobnail boot!
Does it seem like we’re doing the pre-snap shift more right now than we have in recent games? Looks like it’s throwing off their protection.
Yes but looks different. More LBs jumping around?
We have become infected with competence.
And then that 🙄
Incomplete pass!? Our sucking at catching pays off!
Commenting is no longer any fun.
Lol
The silver lining!
And CONFIDENCE which is what’s been missing.
‘
Arian Smith finally catches a pass, and then reverts back to form. Lucky recovery for us.
Holy Crap, get some stickum stat!!!
FFS, why are these f’ers with awful hands still getting playing time? A walk-on who actually can catch a ball would be better than drop after drop.
We’re back in business boys.
Keep throwing to Delp!
Bobo
Love it when the Dawgs shut me up.
Of course, I did say this is kind of game where Bobo keeps his job. 😂
I’m happy to be shushed.
Breaking: Bobo remembers that Delp is on the team.
