College football’s opening weekend is a 3 day affair this season. One of their so-called marquee matchups airs tonight:
ESPN Bet has LSU as a 4 point favorite and the over/under is set to 64.5. Based on my vast ignorance of both USC and LSU, I could see LSU more than covering 4 points in this game.

Agree on LSU covering. I’m not sure hoe good LSU will be but unless there have been drastic changes at USC it should be no problem for LSU to score some points. Early, often and all game long.

I think LSU lays an egg away from home. Would love to see them whip USC but I think USC wins outright.
Why is there only 1 college game today and 1 college game tomorrow? Why is the Monday game such a dud? Boston College at FSU? It’s only worth watching to see if FSU really is that bad this year. It would be nice if there were at least 3 games each day (12 PM, 4 PM, 8 PM) to give the fans something to watch all day long.
I mean, the NFL stepped aside for the weekend, why not take advantage of it?
Really hope Carpetbagger Kelly lays the wood to U$C. Good buddy of mine started a Dawg text group and we named Riley the ‘Golden Boy’ initially. Then when he tried to weasel out of the game with LSU, our fearless leader Grasshopper 🦗 changed it to the ‘Golden Weasel’. We’ve been having a lot of fun with that, especially with all the recruiting shenanigans going on with Riley trying to come into Georgia and cherry pick our state. Fuck U$C.

Major Burns played a major role in the loss by LSU. The jumping offsides to give them a free play could be excused, but ripping you helmet off. No excuse. That cost them 15 yards when they would have had good field position. Maybe there is a reason he is at LSU instead of still being at UGA. What I saw from LSU tonight seems to be typical of Kelly coached teams….a lack of discipline….and it cost them.
