Man, I’m kind of actually proud of this week’s voting in the Mumme Poll. Look how close we were to the AP Poll voting! It shows that we are operating under the same blind, unbridled reckless abandon as AP voters. Hell, when all is said and done, we might become a voter in the actual AP Poll. Why not…could you imagine seeing Otis Day listed in the AP voting, along with the Refugee decal logo, represented amongst the lunatic fringe of college football rankings?
Hell, I like you. You can come over to my house and kiss my sister. (Note: I don’t have a sister. I do like Full Metal Jacket, though).

Others receiving pity votes: SMU (5 – Y’all listened…aww, I’m honored…but what about Pitt?); Iowa and Houston (4), and Arizona and Baylor (3)
Dropping Out: James Madison and SMU (24), Virginia Tech (17), Iowa (10)
Y’all are critical bunch. Iowa falls out of the Mumme Poll after being Top 10 last week. Humility really is a week away.
Despite my rantings about the Big XII and media inflation of the polls, y’all are bullish on Pitt and ranked BYU exactly where the AP has them. Ditto LSU and Texas Tech. Nice. Shine on, you crazy diamonds.
Nebraska fans would like to contribute to the blog now, I think, getting a top 20 ranking, and we’re deservedly critical of Tennessee and USC. Jury is out on Oklahoma State, though they have a good quarterback. And look at Kentucky. I think we are all quietly rooting for Kentucky to do something good for the years of being gracious hosts and partners in the SEC East. In all seriousness, if Stein keeps this up, he should be a candidate for Coach of the Year. Sumrall inherited a lot of talent, so spare me the bravado about the Gayturds. Stein is doing the somewhat unthinkable, and I thought Kentucky would have a huge fall off after Stoops left. Bravo.
In regards to our bonus question, y’all are forever the optimists:

65% of y’all are thinking a W, 35% a loss. Can’t say I can argue with either crowd. Prognostication is hard. I leave it up to the idiots who deem themselves experts to go out on a limb and prove themselves incredibly wrong of inexplicably right.
Nicely done, Refugees. Until next week…

can someone send me a direct email to order stickers, my computer wont let me use the link. thanks andrew@traditionsintile.com
You just need to email Otis Day to get his address to send the SASE and cash to for the decals.
Still not voting until maybe week 10 when we actually have some legit data. The more I listen to those with an actual AP vote and their thought process the more I’m convinced we go back to the computers or a true super committee that is both knowledgeable and transparent in their voting. AP voters love eye-candy and SoS be damned.
