  1. Season’s over. Might’ve cried a little. This win felt better than any other this year. Better than a lot of games.

    • I don’t care what happens the rest of the year now. Winning an SEC championship is damn hard. We beat the team twice that the suits in Birmingham did everything for.

      • Admittedly there was some mist in the McDonough House. My first year blogging it feels like I’ve been riding with this team. The Senator has to be smiling. What a fucking year.

    It may not be pretty. It may be ugly at times. But we’re gonna fight and fight and fucking claw until its over.

    They can have everything else, but all I will ever want is a team that plays like that.

    Kirby painted his masterpiece this season.

  11. How bout them MF Dawgs!!! Switched over to the SEC Network and watched the trophy presentation. Sankey mumbled some shit about Texass and the crowd booed. Kirby got the mic and said that the Dawgs accomplished what they did despite Greg Sankey and his staff putting the Dawgs on the road ALL SEASON LONG. Sankey had a look on his face like someone had shot his dog. Fukn loved the way our Coach basically slapped him upside the head. 🤣🤣 And the MF deserved it too.

    And that’s priceless!

      • Yeah. We seem to have their number. It’s really tough to beat an equally talented team in a same year rematch, but this was a team we first played in their house (ranked #1) and now later as a much improved SEC tested (ranked #3) team at a neutral site. Maybe Kirby’s finest hour TBH.

  19. Kirby uses the word resilient. I just see a team that fights like hell and refuses to give up. They’ve got all sorts of worts but, they simply fight like hell.

  20. I am thankful that the Dawgs are moving on. I am thankful for all of you that have stuck with GTPR through the season, I intend for next season to be better on this blog! But, for now, Go Dawgs and get another one!

    Gunner has to be concussed after that hit, I really hope we have a healthy QB next game.

    • Roman Harper is the worst guy they have on that network. He is the Droopy Dog version of Desmond Howard.

      That should have been a big completion. Gunner had Lovett (I think) and Delp wide open crossing over the middle of the field and did not throw to either for some reason.

    • The only teams they’d drop to let Bama in is SMU. But I can’t see them doing that. They lost by 3 in an extra game they were forced to play while Bama sat home.
