It’s likely raining, so all he needs to do is hand off or possibly run some times, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he finds a way to duck this game the same way he ducked his commitment.

As for Curtis, screw him. Any coach worth a damn would take one look at a QB who is too skeered to play in a big time game and dump him for a real baller.

Hard no. As I understand it, he burned the bridge. Not that it’s personal with Kirby, but right now it’s almost a case study that a high school all-star QB is going to yield the results you want to see for the investment (see: Underwood, Faizon, etc…). He would need to season and show worth, but for what Kirby is looking for, Curtis won’t be the guy.
