Week Six/Seven Game Replay, catching up (again) edition

Good morning. Seems in my advanced age, remembering is harder… or something, probably. What was I saying? Oh, yeah, anyway… I forgot to put the Mississippi State game replay up here. So, that game replay is ready for enduring, if you want to go back and relive it…

So, due to my faulty memory, you get a doubleheader today. The Texas game is edited and uploaded to YouTube for your viewing pleasure…

Enjoy! Go Dawgs!

  1. Out of curiosity, other than technical challenges, is it possible to dub the Scott Howard audio over games and put them up on Youtube? Or are there copyright restrictions that would prevent it?

    • Possible? Yes. Way too time consuming for me. I believe there is a YouTuber that does do this. If you can find their channel.

      • Thanks, I’ll look around. And to be clear, I wasn’t suggesting that you do it. I was just curious if it could be done. Thanks for posting these games!

        • Oh no worries. I did look into it… but it just looked like way more than I want to do. Edit commercials out of audio and video. Then try to sync those up when they don’t have the same timing on their breaks? Nah, I’d drive myself crazy trying to make it perfect!

  2. I’ll tell you what. IMHO, if the Dawgs defense will keep this up and the offense will improve just a bit, then the rest of college football would be best suited to where their brown pants if they have to play Georgia.

    • I want to believe the offense will improve. We’re 7 games into the season and it’s likely that what we’ve seen is who the Dawgs will be the rest of the way. But maybe, just maybe, Coley can toss his colored chalk into a plastic bucket with Bobo’s Crayolas, mix them up, and come up with some ingenious new schemes.

      • How did I miss that Coley was back on our staff? Maybe I knew it, I just blocked it out. Oof.

  3. Sadly, I think you’re right. 7 games in is who we are – maybe some healthy players return to help. As far as scheme? If our receivers/QB just execute the basics, scheme won’t matter. The basics performed at the Bulldog Standard goes a LLLOOONNNGGG way. Maybe (of course I don’t know what goes on in the WR Room), we need to move Coley somewhere where technique coaching doesn’t interfere with his recruiting in South Florida…

p.s. covering a point spread didn’t hurt my feelings
